English-Speaking Oral Surgery in Berlin

Many procedures that used to be referred to oral surgeons we now perform in our own practice — familiar environment, familiar team, shorter paths. For very complex cases we cooperate with experienced specialists.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom teeth often erupt at an angle, remain impacted, or cause pressure on neighbouring teeth. Planned removal may be advised when:

  • Recurring gum inflammation around the wisdom tooth
  • The tooth is angled and pressing neighbours
  • Decay on the wisdom tooth or neighbour
  • Before orthodontic treatment
  • Cyst formation or nerve pressure

We plan with X-rays — for complex positions, 3D CBCT scans. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and is painless.

Apicoectomy (Root Tip Removal)

When a root canal treatment cannot eliminate a chronic infection at the root tip, apicoectomy is the next step: surgical removal of the infected tip through a small access, cleaning the area, and preserving the tooth.

Cyst Removal

Small cysts at root tips or in the jaw bone can be removed surgically together with the surrounding tissue for healing. Larger cysts require careful planning.

Bone Augmentation

For planned implants where the bone volume is insufficient we offer:

  • Sinus lift — bone build-up in the upper posterior region
  • Augmentation with autogenous bone or biocompatible substitute materials
  • Bone splitting for narrow ridges
  • Guided bone regeneration (GBR) with membrane

See our implants page for more.

Frenectomy

Short labial or lingual frenula can cause speech limitations in children and gum recession in adults. A frenectomy is a small, fast procedure.
